Finally a non toxic, 100% natural hair colour by Desert Shadow. This Australian made semi - permanent, organic hair colour has been created to give you 6 weeks hair coverage. Formulated to be gentle and non-irritating, this 100% Certified Organic product is ideal for those who have scalp issues, sensitive skin and allergies to commercial hair dyes. Made with gentle botanical ingredients, this hair dye will also act as a hair treatment, helping to repair dry and damaged ends, leaving your hair silky soft and shiny.

New to the Organic range of hair dyes is Honey Shadow, this colour will give a sweet & golden light brown colour on grey, light and dark blonde hair. It will also add a golden glow to light brown and medium brown hair. Can be used to highlight greys in dark hair with golden brown shimmer.This product is ideal for those with warm & light olive complexions.

Please note: this colour will not lighten the hair as it contains no bleach or peroxide

Our hair colour products also act as a treatment, helping to repair dry and damaged hair, leaving your hair soft and shiny.

This 100% Certified Organic formula is ideal for those who have scalp issues, sensitive skin and allergies to chemical hair dyes. It is also a wonderful and safe alternative for pregnant mums who would like to continue colouring during pregnancy* as they contain nothing but certified organic goodness.

Ingredients: Cassia auriculata, Indigofera tinctoria, Lawsonia inermis, embilica oficialis, Aloe barbadensis.

Hair Colour application time is an ideal time to give your self a relaxing treatment. Treatment is between 2 - 4 hours, More detailed instructions are included in the box.

Organic hair colours need time to deposit colour on your hair. Please allow the following amount of time for your colour treatment.

Non Grey coverage : 1 hr +

Grey coverage : 3 hrs

Amount of product required

Short hair & root touch ups - 1/2 pack

Medium hair - 1 pack

Long hair - 1 to 1.5 packs

Super long hair - 2 to 3 packs

Thick hair - will need to add an extra 1/4 pack for short hair and 1/2 (short to medium) to 3/4 pack (for long hair)

*Please note - repeated use will see your colour become richer and in some cases darker. Once you achieve the colour shade you like on the lengths, simply apply to the roots only and do a full application every 4th or 5th time to boost the colour at the ends. This will save time and product and ensure you have an even colour all over.

Great coverage

Was a little bit worried to try this product, but shouldn't have been. It was amazing. I had treated blonde hair with my grey regrowth showing through with naturally dark brown hair colour. It covered all my greys and blonde ends with no problems. I love the colour of honey shadow. I was thinking of going a natural darker colour the same as my own but l love this colour so much l'm going to stay with it. Great organic natural product. Love it.

Honey Shadow

Honey Shadow is a lovely colour. I have used other Desert Shadow colours without issues but Honey Shadow made my scalp itch for the first day or so. Not enough to put me off using it as the colour is better for me than the others.

End of the line

The last two times I have used this product I have had a headache for hours after washing out. Colour seems to be darker too. I will not be using again.

The last two times I have used this product I have had a headache for hours after washing out. Colour seems to be darker too. I will not be using again.

Great non toxic option

I love that this is non toxic and fragrance free. Planning to use this for baby clothes so we don’t need to have 2 different laundry liquids.

My New Favourite Soaps

I am really impressed with the Viva soaps. I wanted palm oil-free and not too smelly and these definitely deliver. This one has virtually no smell which is good for my allergic partner. They do not dry my skin out - I find I can skip moisturiser if in a hurry and my legs don't look like crocodile skin. Also keeps shape really well. I use this in the shower and keep it on a metal soap tray of a shower caddy.

It didn't go into a messy blob that you had to throw away as it was useless to use.

Very nice conditioner

Happy with this conditioner. Hair is nicely smoother without being weighed down. It has a nice low key fragrance. It has always been bit scary to me to change shampoo/condition brands. I have been disappointed at times with the product performance or find the smell irritating after a while (these days they are often sealed so you can't even smell them anyway and I am VERY fussy about fragrance)

Toughest Drink Bottle

I bought this drink bottle in October 2021 and it's still going strong, as part of my occupation I often work in an extreme environments that are very hot and this bottle keeps my water cool. It's so tough, it's been dropped from heights of up to 6m onto concrete and survived with minimal denting, and on the odd occasions it has been used as an improvised hammer. I'm going to purchase another as a backup for when I need extra volume and don't want to lug around a two litre bottle.
